Indoor Clouds (Cloudscapes) by Tetsuo Kondo Architects + Transsolar

I were in the Architectural Biennial in Venice last week, and one of the most promising things for me to watch was this indoor clouds. But sometimes destiny plays its own way and I end up watching a room full of humidity and thats about it. Even though it wasn't the Biennial fault nor the artist, the problem is that in order to make interior clouds there must be certain conditions (stacking a warm humid layer 25º and 100%RH between a lower cool dry layer 18º and 40% RH and a higher hot dry layer of 37º and 60%RH) without these conditions clouds won't form indoors.... So the problem there was that the door was open half of the time because it is an exhibition and you can't  forbid people from moving to the next intervention in their way, and obviously it was impossible to keep the air in the proper form. But anyway I still think that it is very interesting, hopefully for the first visitors during the morning they probably had the chance to watch these spectacular cloud formations.

Somethimes I prefer Art

I wish real life were like this. And by the way, I just remembered that the film "What dreams may come" is close to this aesthetics.

I wish I had a Monet :D

The Aquacontour is The End of Circular Crops

I found this info by NL Architects blog:

"The Aquacontour by Gardena is a sprinkler irrigation system that allows for free-form lawns.
Virtually any shape can be programmed without wasting water. Is the Aquacontour the beginning of a new type of land art? When can we start harvesting a Matisse or a Jean Arp? Surprisingly the new center pivot irrigation can do 90 degree corners as well. A soccer pitch can be watered from the middle circle with one single sprinkler… By creating square irrigation ‘circles’ 20% more land can be used!"

The meaning of this apart of being capable of making art is that you can irrigate the 100% of flat land without the need of a human being going around... Think of the possibilities!

Serpentine Gallery Pavilion by Jean Nouvel

Hot news!! Jean Nouvel will design next Serpentine Gallery Pavillion...

Some explanations:

"The design for the 2010 Pavilion is a contrast of lightweight materials and dramatic metal cantilevered structures. The entire design is rendered in a vivid red that, in a play of opposites, contrasts with the green of its park setting. In London the colour reflects the iconic British images of traditional telephone boxes, post boxes and London buses."

"The building consists of bold geometric forms, large retractable awnings and a freestanding wall that climbs 12m above the lawn, sloping at a gravity defying angle. It experiments with the idea of play in its incorporation of the French tradition of outdoor table-tennis. Striking glass, polycarbonate and fabric structures create a versatile system of interior and exterior spaces. The flexible auditoria will accommodate the Serpentine Gallery Park Nights and Marathon and the changing summer weather.

Tibi and her Cello: She will go far...

Have an eye on this young lady, she is steeping hard on the ground, and for sure we will hear about her in the future. With a unique style that could be described as Neo-Folk or Alternative Folk

She is studding in LIPA, a music school in Liverpool created by Paul McCartney. While attending LIPA she has been playing also with some other artist that are entering into the spanish big scene (even though she mostly sings in english).

Here there is the Link to her Myspace where she only has one song (yet) to listen, anyway there are some rumors that a full Album will be soon recorder. If you have the chance to listen the song, you will find that the song worths the effort (if this could be considered an effort...).

Some of the artists she has been playing with:

Alex Ferreira
