The Page by Jae Kim

As you can watch on the video below this is just a prototype (semi transparent e-ink) of a newspaper e-reader. The concept seems bold and clever to me.

And I am one of those that like to think that color e-ink is the future of print (or not printed really). Sorry for the ipad, which I love (Mac lover and happy user) but for reading e-ink is superior.

The video explains the idea perfectly.

I see this as a web you should be keeping an eye at least once in a while. Basically its information presented in complex graphics that simplified the way of understanding the information provided. Most of them really well done, graphically speaking and also the information that they provide is really useful.
I think it's called "data flow"

As one of my main obsesions with atmospheric architecture, this could be also be the future of atmospheric technology... No need to produce waist and production of high-tech devices, when you can replace then all in your body as a natural interactive screen.

Hilarious!! And everything really well designed. That's in fact one of the main reasons I always loved first PLOT and now BIG (BIG was part of PLOT few years ago).

#climatedata "data activism" by Manuel Lima and Jer Thorp

Very well graphed (or maybe is illustrated I am not sure of what's the regular word to use in this cases). It's easy to understand and it shows you a part of history in almost no time. You can see evolution in technology first and then the globalization of the 20th century with a clear expansion after the 50's. Also this is very useful information.

No need to presentation really... Anyone that is from Spain (or knows spanish) and has something to do with architecture knows that Edgar Gonzalez Blog is a MUST.


I found his two latest post really interesting and useful, even though I knew them since a long time a go. Specially interesting the one about typography, because I just finished a couple of books about that topic and I usually think that is one of those things that architects don't really know how to manage. The tendency is more about visual impact and being "cool" rather than make it work properly.
