I am pretty sure I've seen it before, if not the same something similar al least. Well in my archives here in the blog there is also this "Danny Kuo's StairCASE", which could be considered similar.


It's quite interesting, specially for the many many options of combination and use.

Soccer Ball and the highly complex forms

Thinking about complex forms, I realize this is an incredible way of constructing very complex forms that need to be ripped apart first in order to "sew" them together as you would do with fabric or as a Soccer ball.

Easy to get the concept of this "go Through" house

As usual in japanese architecture, this house is so simple that it doesn't need explanation, you can get the whole concept just by the photos taken once the house was finished and in use.

Ways of representing

I always had a hard time trying to represent vegetation effectively (of efficiently?), the fact is that represent vegetation as an abstract diagram (which the tendency is to have better looking than if you try to represent vegetation as it is) is not as easy as it seems.

So today I found this diagram that represents the photo below it




Well, if you don't get yet... I am going to explain it: What you see on the diagram is the species arranged by the color of the flowers (or the tone of green they have), and the circles represents about the space that they are going to need once planted. And of course the form of the whole group. Which is brilliant!!

No need to presentation really... Anyone that is from Spain (or knows spanish) and has something to do with architecture knows that Edgar Gonzalez Blog is a MUST.


I found his two latest post really interesting and useful, even though I knew them since a long time a go. Specially interesting the one about typography, because I just finished a couple of books about that topic and I usually think that is one of those things that architects don't really know how to manage. The tendency is more about visual impact and being "cool" rather than make it work properly.

Tibi and her Cello: She will go far...

Have an eye on this young lady, she is steeping hard on the ground, and for sure we will hear about her in the future. With a unique style that could be described as Neo-Folk or Alternative Folk 


She is studding in LIPA, a music school in Liverpool created by Paul McCartney. While attending LIPA she has been playing also with some other artist that are entering into the spanish big scene (even though she mostly sings in english).


Here there is the Link to her Myspace where she only has one song (yet) to listen, anyway there are some rumors that a full Album will be soon recorder. If you have the chance to listen the song, you will find that the song worths the effort (if this could be considered an effort...).
